Chunky Knit or Striped Crochet Hat Workshop - Friday 28th November 7-9pm at Devonmade

Join us for a cosy, creative session where you can choose to knit or crochet your very own handmade hat — the perfect winter accessory made by you!

This workshop is ideal for those with basic knitting or crochet knowledge who want to build their confidence and learn a new technique in a relaxed, friendly setting.

You’ll choose your preferred option on the day:

🧶 Knitters – learn how to knit a chunky hat in the round using circular needles to create a seamless, super cosy beanie.

🎨 Crocheters – learn how to make a colourful stripey crochet hat, exploring fun colour changes and neat finishing techniques.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through your chosen project, with plenty of support and tips throughout.

All materials are provided — including soft chunky yarn, needles or hooks, and a take-home pattern — plus plenty of time to chat, create, and enjoy a relaxed crafty atmosphere.

You’ll leave with a finished (or nearly finished) hat, new skills, and the confidence to make more at home.
